MBA are excited to be working with a best-in-class insurance company, assisting their search for a talented Equine Claims Handler. The client is an industry heavyweight with a reputation for client centric claims management, technical innovation and leadership and due to continuing growth require an Equine Claims Handler, this is a remote position with travel as an when required ,the ideal candidate would be based in the midlands area of the UK (but this is not essential) In return, the Equine Claims Handler can expect a competitive salary, attractive pension scheme, healthcare benefits, local discounts, career progression and support towards any role relevant qualifications.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Handling equine insurance claims virtually, although some visits may be required
- Identifying and delivering training and mentoring as required
- Client activities – both business development and relationship management

About you
- You will be an experienced claims handler or from a similar background
- Ideally experience of equine claims or similar
- Knowledge of the insurance claims process and how your role will relate to this
- Ability to negotiate with claimants using a variety of methods in line with Client requirements
- Good IT skills with MS office
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability multi task to a detailed level
