Bristol Old Vic Theatre School is seeking a part-time Caretaker to ensure the safe operation and upkeep of the School’s sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a wide-range of caretaking duties, including minor repairs and maintenance, light redecoration, moving furniture and accepting deliveries, and ensuring the buildings are well-stocked and presentable at all times.
Equipped with an understanding of Health and Safety regulations and experience of carrying out specialist building maintenance work, the ideal candidate will bring demonstrable organisational skills, be a good self-manager and capable of offering flexibility and adaptability in their hands-on approach.
The successful candidate will play a central role in ensuring the School provides a safe, secure and stimulating environment in which our students can train, in turn ensuring the School is able to continue delivering its world-class training.
Contract: 22.5 hours per week, permanent
Salary: £12 per hour
