The Respiratory support worker will be a member of the Community Respiratory Service. They will support specialist nurses, specialist physiotherapists, a senior occupational therapist and a senior dietician to deliver respiratory care across the Sandwell Borough to patients in their place of residence.They will support the clinicians in the team in clinic and home visits. The post will involve lone working.
They will provide care and give lifestyle advice as set out by a bespoke treatment/management plan initiated by a clinician. They will be responsible for delivering care and assisting with pulmonary rehabilitation and various clinics (oxygen, spirometry and dietetics) under the direction of clinical professionals.
